APHRODITE´S CHILD - Magic Mirror

APHRODITE’S CHILD
Mercury 132.505 MCF
A. I Want To Live
B. Magic Mirror
Released 1969

(French release)

The A-side of this 45 by this Greek group called Aphrodite’s Child is unfortunately very VERY boring, so it’s best to forget that there even is a A-side and instead put all your focus on the organ driven killer track “Magic Mirror” on B-side.

Neal Ford & The Fanatics - I Have Thoughts Of You

NEAL FORD AND THE FANATICS
Hickory 45-P-1490
A. I Have Thoughts Of You
B. That Girl Of Mine
Released 1967

This song is called “I Have Thoughts Of You” and it’s by the pretty well-known garage band called Neal Ford And The Fanatics from Houston Texas.
This is a pretty soft, but very good song that just floats around, and their creative use of the "schhHA" sound with the drums really enhances the atmosphere of the song.
The organist, Lanier Greig was later a part of the original lineup of another Houston band called ZZ Top.
